Description: How to Join Our Recreation Centers To become a member, you must first visit your local recreation center. Bring a completed Recreation Center Membership Registration form [PDF], a valid ID, and proof of your Covid-19 vaccination. Health and Safety In order to keep our members and employees safe and healthy, we ask that you help us prevent the spread of COVID-19. When using a recreation center, please make sure that you: Stay home if you are sick Maintain six feet of physical distance Wear an acceptable face covering, and Wash your hands often You will be asked to complete a health screening and your temperature will be taken before you enter the facility.You will be required to wear a mask unless you are medically unable to do so. Interested in learning computers or multimedia production? Visit the media lab in your recreation center and sign up for a wide range of programs! Media Education workshops are free with membership and open to people of all ages and abilities. Additional Information Please note: This facility shuts its doors at closing time. Registration hours end at least 30 minutes before closing time. Other activities may shut down 15 minutes early. Recreation centers operate in seasonal schedules, with program availability additionally affected by Parks' afterschool and summer camps. Programs rotate in the following increments: January - March, April - June, July - September and October - December. Media Labs follow their own 6-12 week schedules, depending on the type of class being offered. Holidays On holidays (New Year's Day and Eve, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Eve, and Christmas Day and Eve), recreation center hours will change.
