League Night
Westchester TTC League Night takes place every Thursday starting at 7:30 pm. Groups of five players, organized by similar rating, compete in round robins. Results are posted, usually by midnight, here. Club ratings are updated every Monday here.
Handicap Tournament
The club holds a Handicap Tournament every Friday (except on nights before the club's monthly Opens) starting at 7:30 pm. The higher-rated player in each match is handicapped by 1 point per game for every 75-point rating difference over the lower-rated player, up to a maximum of 7 points. Unrated players are given estimated ratings to start. Play starts in round robins, so everyone gets multiple matches. The top two players in each group advance to a single-elimination playoff. Entry fee: $5. The winner gets half of the pot.
Free Group Training
For unrated players or players USATT-rated under 1600, pro Ben Nisbet provides free group training every Monday starting at 7:30 p.m. (For nonmembers, the regular day rate applies -- $12/adult, $10/child.)
Parkinson's Night
This special program for players with Parkinson's takes place every Wednesday starting at 7:30 pm. No charge. More info.
